the beneath the beacon automaton alphabet and trail

The trail brings an alphabet of characters home to Penrith this summer, each with their story to tell.   See them come alive in venues across the town from 28 July to 2 September 2018.

The BENEATH THE BEACON trail leaflet and map shown below will guide you around the venues hosting the characters.

Collect the map and History Quest from the EVAN Gallery on Corney Place or join the trail anywhere along the way to get swept up in the stories.

The John Kent, Black Policeman Automaton will be on show at Penrith Railway station in the first week of August.  His arrival has been delayed to allow the hordes of Kendal Calling passengers off the train first.

The Beneath the Beacon Trail Map is available from the EVAN Gallery on Corney Place, Penrith.
